A letter from the Executive Board
Hello! Thank you very much for visiting the website of Phi Sigma Kappa Omicron Septaton Chapter at Villanova University. Our chapter is dedicated to promoting brotherhood, stimulating scholarship, and developing character in all of our brothers and associate members. We do this through a number of philanthropy events, brotherhood events, and spending quality time with each other. Our 70 brothers are highly involved on campus and are committed to giving back to the local community. Our chapter has won Chapter of the Year and Greek Man of the Year awards for 3 years running, and we have won numerous other awards as well. We are committed to constantly improving ourselves and our chapter by going the extra mile and working hard to improve the Villanova community. However, the most important thing to us is our strong bonds of brotherhood. The only way to see these bonds is through your own eyes, so please try and get to know us better. We look forward to meeting you soon! Fraternally, The Executive Board

Our Cardinal Principles
To Promote Brotherhood
Justice, harmony, and brotherly love are essential to the spirit of fraternity. We promise to set an example of true brotherhood not only in our relations with each other, but in our association with people everywhere.
To Stimulate Scholarship
Wisdom comes with learning. Complementing the mission of higher education, we seek to help our members to combine formal and informal learning experience; to more fully appreciate the importance of both theoretical and practical knowledge; and, by broadening their understanding of human relationships, to produce men of wisdom who will be better prepared to make positive contributions to society and all mankind.
To Develop Character
Honor is the basis of fraternal relationships. We resolve to instill in each member a devotion to those values which will guide him to ends that are noble and right, so that in all that he represents and in all that he does, he shall be known as a man of honor who inspires others by his example and thus wins admiration and respect for himself and for Phi Sigma Kappa.

Involvement on campus
Check out what the brothers of Phi Sigma Kappa are involved with.
Phi Sigma Kappa's international service project
Special Olympics is an international program of year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Its goal is for all persons with intellectual disabilities to have the chance to become useful and productive citizens who are accepted and respected in their communities. The benefits of participation in Special Olympics for people with intellectual disabilities include improved physical fitness and motor skills, greater self-confidence, a more positive self-image, friendships and increased family support. In addition, we help Sophomores move into their dorms at the beginning of the year. All donations go to Special Olympics.
St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service
Each year, the St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service brings together nearly 5,000 students, faculty, staff, alumni and their families working in partnership with neighborhood agencies to perform service throughout Greater Philadelphia. This annual event builds upon the great service performed throughout the year by the Villanova community and exists as a unique way to put its Augustinian ideals into action. Our brothers are heavily involved with the event, and each year we travel as a group to a nearby site where we offer any help we can.
Billy Zimmermann Memorial Soccer Tournament
In March of 2013, we tragically lost one of our brothers, Billy Zimmermann. Each year, we hold a soccer tournament to honor his name. All proceeds go to his scholarship at Seton Hall Preparatory School.
Billy Zimmermann Scholarship Fund
Two things that were extremely close to Billy's heart were Phi Sig and Villanova. He was one of the most influential brothers we had the pleasure to know. His smile could light up any room, and his sense of humor was second to none. With guidance from our chapter advisor, Chrissy Quisenberry, we decided to start a $5,000 annual scholarship in Billy's name at Villanova for an exceptional senior Phi Sig brother. This will ensure that Billy's name is constantly seen on campus and by Phi Sigs for years to come. Our goal is to raise $100,000 through the University's Office of Development so that the scholarship will become permanently endowed. $5,000 will go to a worthy senior brother (as determined by a board of Phi Sig alums that knew Billy) at the start of their senior year for as long as Villanova exists. We understand that this is a lofty goal, but if anyone ever taught us to dream big, it was Billy. Our plan until we raise that $100,000 is to create a term scholarship. $5,000 will be raised and given to the worthy senior, and any remaining money that was raised would accumulate in the fund until we reach our $100,000 goal to be a fully endowed scholarship at the University. It would help us greatly if you would consider a donation to this scholarship. Any donation will be documented by Villanova University and will be tax deductible, and many companies have donation matching policies in place. Donating is fast and convenient. Phi Sigma Kappa Presents: Movember
As we look to take advantage of every fundraising opportunity, the brothers of Phi Sigma Kappa have decided to participate in Movember. As we pledge not to shave our mustaches for the month of November, we hope you consider donating to our cause. With varying levels of gifts and rewards, everyone can help us keep Billy's legacy alive. Check out our Movember site here. Depending on what gift you choose to give, we'll send you a Live Like Billy wristband, a collage of the brother's mustaches after a month, and a calendar!
